Glasgow

Based on a grid system, Glasgow’s streets and lanes are packed with coffee houses, beer-stops, places to grab quick burgers or 3 coursers, galleries, parks, an art-house cinema and Victorian sandstone buildings. Glasgow is compact, you can see a lot of the city in a short space of time, we also have our own underground tube system to get around fast. With a diverse music scene across pubs and clubs, there are gigs and acts on every night of the week. A 30 minute drive away will also lead you to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park — full of lochs, glens, castles and hills.

The Note is an unpretentious and much loved food, drink and music venue, at the foot of the Merchant City. Walls are covered with posters, there's a juke box and you can take your dog for a drink and biscuit too. The seating area is split into bar and food area, the menu has a generous selection of veggie / vegan dishes – (the falafel burger is a shout). It's often busy but mellow, an order when you like/have a couple of drinks first approach. The Note is also a supportive hub for local creatives, allowing artwork to be exhibited without commission.
