Glasgow

Based on a grid system, Glasgow’s streets and lanes are packed with coffee houses, beer-stops, places to grab a quick burger, places to grab 3 coursers, galleries, parks, an art-house cinema, Victorian sandstone buildings and a mecca of designer shops. Glasgow is compact, you can see a lot of the city in a short space of time, we also have our own underground tube system to get around fast. With a diverse music scene across pubs and clubs, there are gigs and acts on every night of the week. A 30 minute drive away will also lead you to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park — full of lochs, glens, castles and hills.

The first thing you'll smell is the fresh ginger, herbs and fruit. Tchai Ovna is Glasgow's Tea House and is located in former stables, down the cobbled Otago Lane. Decorated with endless cushions, curtains, mismatched chairs and teapots and you are free to chill out however you like — the best seats in the house are in the nook area. You can meditate, play games, read from the bookshelf or just have a pot of tea. The kitchen walls are bordered with over 100 flavours. A personal favourite is Fairies Blood — a blend of strawberry, kiwi, raspberry flowers and mint. Drop by in the evenings, for live music or spoken word performances. Maxwell, the Tchai-Ovna house cat also often roams the grounds.
