The SMBA is the smaller, more intimate version of its big sister, The Stedelijk Museum. The SMBA hosts art exhibitions, lectures, book presentations and more in their bright garage gallery space. It is a stage for international artists to showcase their work. They also host residency programs for electronic, audiovisual, performance art and new media artists. They focus on the exchange of knowledge and equality in collaborations.
