Current Space is run for artists, by artists. It's more than a gallery; it offers artists' studios, hosts concerts and facilitates conversations in the local community. Performers, musicians, painters, designers, activists and thinkers all come here to collaborate and create (Future Islands has been known to play shows in the basement on occasion). Stop by the space and chat with the curator, artist or staff member on site--it's sure to lead somewhere interesting.
