Bucktown

According to local historians, Bucktown acquired its name from the goats that where raised in the area by polish immigrants (apparently, male goats are known as Bucks, who knew?). Today, Bucktown is primarily a residential neighborhood. It's one of Chicago’s smaller regions and is located between, what a lot of people would consider, more lively neighborhoods; Wicker Park and Logan Square. Bucktown isn't as much of a destination as its neighbors, and the restaurants and bars are very low-key, humble and unassuming. This is what makes the area great and why I make my home here. Bucktown is full of small, hidden gems that cater to its residents.

Cortland's Garage is a bit of an outlier in the neighborhood. It has a heavy sports-bar vibe, but don't hold that against them. Here you can find glorious and gluttonous burgers. Cortland's is consistently rated as one of Chicago's top burger spots.
