Lakeview

Home to roughly 100,000 proud Chicagoans, Lakeview is a mix of energy. The neighborhood is unofficially divided into smaller enclaves: Lakeview East, West Lakeview, Southport Corridor, Boystown & Wrigleyville. It's a mix of the bustling, the peaceful and everything in between. Here you'll find tourists and residents alike vying for space at popular restaurants, cafes, biergartens, boutiques, parks & the lakefront. It's also home to many of the city's "bests" in several categories.

DryHop is a welcome addition to Lakeview East, and the neighborhood in general. With the massive growth of the craft beer industry in Chicago, it was tough to believe that one of the city's biggest neighborhoods was brewery-less. Thankfully in 2013, "DHB" changed that. That year they were named Best New Brewery in Chicago, and have sported a draft list of house and guest brews that changes multiple times a week. Plus, they were the first in the area to offer 32 oz. Crowlers to-go. Couple the killer craft beers (including a flagship wheat IPA named Shark Meets Hipster) with an incredible gastropub menu, and you might be here a while.
