Lincoln Park

This massive 1,208 acre park lies along Chicago's beautiful lakefront. Originally called Lake Park, it was renamed in honor of Abraham Lincoln shortly after his assassination. The park contains several museums, a zoo, beaches, recreational areas, driving rage, nature reserves, and harbors. With 20 million visitors a year, Lincoln Park is the second-most-visited park in the United States. When the weather's right, head over to the lakefront trail and beaches, where sand and surf are set against a backdrop of Chicago skyscrapers.
