Glasgow

Based on a grid system, Glasgow’s streets and lanes are packed with coffee houses, beer-stops, places to grab quick burgers or 3 coursers, galleries, parks, an art-house cinema and Victorian sandstone buildings. Glasgow is compact, you can see a lot of the city in a short space of time, we also have our own underground tube system to get around fast. With a diverse music scene across pubs and clubs, there are gigs and acts on every night of the week. A 30 minute drive away will also lead you to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park — full of lochs, glens, castles and hills.

Whitelee Windfarm is Glasgow's go-to spot for a sunrise. The space feels a million miles from the busy city centre. Take a disposable BBQ (and weather-proof matches) and set up in the wooden picnic pods. The Windfarm holds over 215 turbines, enough to power 300,000 homes. The scenery is classic Scotland, there are walking and cycling paths, mountain bike routes and overnight camping. Remember gloves and waterproofs for the temperamental weather.
