Culver City

Centered in–between the beach cities and Downtown LA – Culver City has the perfect mix of art, nightlife, restaurants, theaters, and parks. Once dubbed “California’s Film Capital,” its rich heritage in the arts has inspired film, design, and creative studios to make Culver City their home. With new developments popping up on every corner, it’s quickly becoming one of the top neighborhoods to visit in LA.

This historic hotel has been around since the early 1900’s. Once owned by Charlie Chaplin, it was built a few years after MGM, the first major film studio, was formed. The first two floors were home to Harry Culver’s office, and his statue still sits outside of the front door. There’s live jazz in the lounge and food is served in the restaurant daily, but we usually opt for happy hour in the outdoor patio.
