The southern end of LA’s Historic Core is marked by one of the area’s leading landmarks - the historic United Artists theatre. Built in the 1920’s by Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, D.W. Griffith, and Charlie Chaplin, the theatre was recently restored under the auspices of the Ace Hotel, and now hosts laudable acts ranging from a Quentin Tarantino film to a Marilyn Manson concert.
