Known as an historic, beachside resort town, SaMo has been home to surf and skate culture, healthy living and some of the most progressive attitudes in CA. Today, it’s been reborn as an important tech and cultural hub dubbed “Silicon Beach” where art, entertainment, fashion, food, old and new fuse into a beachy-meets-metropolitan vibe.
The best (old school) place to get resource material and inspiration for any design project you're working on.
Every Saturday, this off-the-beaten-path Farmers Market has all the same stuff as the big one downtown, but it’s simply much more chill. Everyone here is friendly and helpful and mostly locals. Lots of organic produce, meats, eggs, breads, pastries, coffee, nuts, honey, milk, cheese, flowers and plants. Perfectly situated in Virginia Park, you can hang and eat some of their delicious vendor foods, play with your kids on their playground and sprinklers, or go to the newly built Public Library. Oh, and there’s Parking in the lot. Bonus!
