Cuauhtemoc & Juarez

These areas are two of the oldest neighborhoods in Mexico City. Colonia Juárez is one of the emerging neighborhoods in the city. Back in 1900 it was a very wealthy area filled with mansions and it became home to a large artistic community in the 60s. After the earthquake of 1985, the area was devastaded and lost it's popularity. Recently, the whole area is enjoying a revival where new creative minds are emerging and gorgeous places are born inside of the old structures.

Luciferina

Another old building from the beginning of the 20th Century, Luciferina used to be home to a printing press. The architect decided to reuse the structure and make update it with a large modern circular bar where some of the city's best cocktails are served. Everything is beautiful in this bar, even the menu: which take the form of antique books, blue for cocktails and red for food. Inside, there is a private tattoo studio with a waiting hall so your friends can enjoy some drinks while you are getting a tattoo. It is open from Monday to Saturday.
