It varies block to block with remnants of historic trade centers like the flower and garment districts, perfectly sandwiched between Madison Square Park and the Empire State Building. With manufacturing having mostly left NYC, Flatiron is now a growing refuge for creative and tech companies that are quickly taking up shop in 100-year-old loft buildings.

A Little Taste Cafe is a well hidden coffee spot on the South side of 28th street. It's an unexpected gem mixed into the grungy & busy flower shops that line the bustling block. The interior is one you might call “industrial-chic” and just a bit stuffy, but at least you know your $4 Americano is going to not mess around. A great option if you're in dire need of a quality caffeine.
