Ridgewood is an unexpected mix of old shops, friendly neighbors, and a array of growing new business finding their place might not lie in Brooklyn. There is a lack of pretentious in the streets that makes this place quickly feel like home. It's an easy connect into other parts of New York, but why would you want to leave?
Delicious Vietnamese food hidden in a mega-industrial area of Ridgewood. Not the easiest place to get to but that's part of the fun and the food is definitely worth the bike ride. Everything is great but get the vietnamese pancake and the short rib.
