This area is clearly going through a phase of transformation. This makes Noord a great mix of architectural styles and cultures. On one block you'll find a street full of night shops, while on the other you're drinking a cup of local roasted coffee. Old North is the heartbeat of this neighborhood. Many creatives now find their way to this area with the character of a small village, which makes the neighborhood constantly evolving.

This is the place where we always go when we’re working late. Its a take away with Chinese, Surinamese and Javanese food. They have a lot to choose from and its pretty good. The man behind the counter is always happy to see you.
