Nevsky Prospekt

Nevsky Prospekt is St. Petersburg's main avenue and one of the best-known streets in Russia. Cutting through the historical center of the city, it runs from the Admiralty to the Moscow Railway Station and then, after a slight kink, to the Alexander Nevsky Monastery. In the very first days of St. Petersburg it was simply the beginning of the road to the ancient city of Novgorod, but it quickly became adorned with beautiful buildings, squares and bridges and became the very center of the bustling, rapidly growing city.

It saved amazing interior design of that time, with its fireplaces, huge windows and 5 meter high ceiling. The entire cluster is made up of 5 buildings and a large yard. There you can in a cozy Georgian restaurant or have a breakfast in a coffee place «Civil», eat the most delicious curd pancakes in town with the best view on the river and circus. Or you can come here for shopping in the local designer's showroom and then have glass of wine in the restaurant "Treska". Or work with a laptop in a comfortable time-cafe. Anyway, you should visit this place to see how wonderful when old place have got a new soul.
