Potts Point is Sydney’s quintessential success story of seedy to sophisticated. Once a notorious red-light district and night spot, Potts Point has recently toned down its bad boy reputation becoming Sydney’s contemporary cultural hub. Home to some of the sleekest bars, restaurants and boutiques in Sydney - it’s definitely worth a visit.
What we have here is an upmarket fish & chips shop drawing inspiration from the white-washed seaside towns of the American north-east coast. The atmosphere is buzzing at the frount, but more intimate at the back. The fish is fresh, locally caught and well prepared. There’s also a good choice of Australian wines from organic to natural and bio-dynamic - the house rosé is a must! Photography: Merivale.
