Omotesando, often referred to as the Champs-Élysées of Tokyo, is a bustling boulevard of trendy restaurants, international luxury shops and landmark architectures. Aside from the extravagant retail therapy it offers, this neighborhood is an exciting place to hang out and wander around. Slip into the side streets for an intriguing mix of quirky cafes and up-and-coming boutiques. Here are some of my favorites!

Matsubara-an Keyaki Soba in Omotesando is the sister restaurant of the upscale soba noodle restaurant in Kamakura. You can watch them knead their quality soba noodles which they later boil and serve in rich soup. The simple interior and Japanese decor offers a calming and relaxing atmosphere.
