Danforth

Connecting Toronto's downtown core east, the Danforth is a vibrant and cultural hub that combines tradition with the hip and modern. Don't worry about getting lost, it's really just one big street! You'll find meals the way 'mama' used to make, like Greek souvlaki and Italian pastry as well as a daring new wave of fashion boutiques, cafes and bakeries (to name a few). More recently, these shops have integrated well into the current mesh that makes this neighbourhood so unique. A mix of old and young, wise and bold, but always warm and inviting.

Prince Edward Viaduct

Named after Prince Edward, upon his inaugural visit to both Canada and Toronto, the bridge connects the Danforth to Bloor at Broadview Ave. and Parliament St. The bridge offers the best view of the Don Valley, it's trails and rivers and there are many paths on either side that will lead you down. During the night the bridge lights up in light show that moves across the length of it. Whether you're taking a stroll, riding your bike, walking your dog or simply commuting downtown, you can enjoy the sights and the sounds of the busy city and the flourishing natural environment.
