Kensington Market

Wedged between Chinatown and Little Italy, this rich cultural hub is one of North America's best street markets. It’s full of old and colorful buildings, and was named a national heritage site since November 2006. You’ll find a diverse mix of Toronto’s population here. With the variety of global and fusion restaurants, not to mention an eclectic mix of shops and vendors, it’s the perfect place to try something new.

Right on the south-east border of Kensington Market is the best traditional Pho restaurant in the entire downtown area. It's an efficient, no-nonsense dining experience. No tricks: sit, eat, pay, leave. The rare beef is high quality and trimmed. The broth is light and flavourful without being salty. The tea is complimentary. Most important of all, this place is consistent. Perfect for when you feel under the weather.
