Kreis 5 is the fifth district and one of the hippest at the moment in Zurich. Once known as the industrial district, there is nearly nothing left of it. Only a few industrial buildings and the multi-cultural community reminds us of the industrial past. Today you find Restaurants, Bars, Clubs and beautiful parks and alternative places all over the district. During the week you can meet regular people, families and a lot of Students. But on weekends most people head to the Limmatplatz for a drink or a midnight snack before they dive into club-nightlife.
