The main parc of the city, the Vondelpark is great place to jog, work out or to just hang with your friends. In summer barbecues are allowed, there are shows and concerts and the parc really comes alive. Sit and enjoy some coffee or wine at the Blauwe theehuisje, Vondel3 or the Vondeltuin. Families with small children can go swimming in the shallow baby pool or head to the Melkhuis, with a nice playing area for kids and bites.
