Seasick’s also a venue, hosting intimate rock shows (there’s a stage!), art openings, and other community gatherings. Owner Daniel Drinkard, a guy about as affable as they come, is always happy to talk music and offer recommendations. Need a haircut? Seasick also happens to be home to Newman’s Classic Cuts—a two-chair barber-style shop (by appointment only) where Newman Evans and A.P. Suaze offer up slick cuts and slicker conversation.
