Coney Island

Get ready for sensory overload. To see it is to believe it. Artists, bikers, beatniks, homeboys, hipsters, squares, immigrants, families, freaks, and vast members of fringe society enjoy sun & beach, amusements, people watching, and the one-of-a-kind sounds, smells, and vibrant colors of the people’s playground.

Built in 1927, The Cyclone is a historic testament. It is one of the United States’ oldest rollercoasters and its creaky, jittery feel provides an exhilarating thrill. With 2,640 feet of track that features 12 drops and 27 elevation changes, the clattering, wooden rollercoaster has kept visitors hearts pounding for almost 100 years.
