The Navy Yard is a tucked away corner of Brooklyn few people have explored, but this little area is packed full of hidden gems. Small coffee roasters, amazing chicken sandwiches, museums and whiskey distilleries. It's a narrow slice of Brooklyn that's worthy of anyones weekend.

Places that look this nondescript always hide amazing food. Tepango is exactly one of these secret places. Entering the resturant you feel it’s been in the Navy Yard area forever, and it probably has. We regularly order the pork tacos and enchiladas. 3 tacos paired with a coke is a solid cheap meal.
