Known as the “Gateway to the World,” Albany Park is the most ethnically diverse neighborhood in Chicago. From iconic theatre companies to museums, restaurants to parades to community gardens, our neighborhood is vibrant, alive, and growing. Families come here to take root alongside people who’ve lived here for generations. The small business is alive and thriving in Albany Park—and we love that. The story of Albany Park is the real story of America today.
We’re not sure why it’s called Rocky’s Tacos and not Rocky’s Tortas because their “Super Tortas Futboleras” are the reason to visit this soccer-themed restaurant. With over 78 different versions of the Mexican sandwich and consistently fresh bread, this is like the torta mecca. Pro tip: Get the pico de gayo that comes with ham and if you go in after 5p during the week there’s a good chance you’ll be ordering from Rocky himself.
