While officially designated the “Kinzie Industrial Corridor,” this swath of land extending west from Fulton Market is home to far more than industry and distribution. A broad range of businesses, artisans, craftspeople and educators call the neighborhood home, drawn by ample loft space, some spectacular food spots, and a bit of glorious parkland.
What started as a dedicated teaching studio quickly became one of the only galleries showing the works of Chicago's talented ceramicists. Today, at its current home at 2255 W Grand Ave, it continues as a studio full of talent willing to pass on the art of ceramics to all who are willing to learn. Stop by to view what is on display, sign up for a intensive class or snag a studio membership.
