Corktown, the oldest surviving neighborhood in the city, is located just west of downtown Detroit. It's a tight-knit community full of Victorian era homes many of which have been beautifully restored in a variety of colors. The growing restaurant and bar scene is one of the best in the city. Between it's restaurants, shops, and historic charm, Corktown has plenty to see and do.
Small neighborhood park with a playground
While there's not much to the park itself, the view of the train station is pretty great. You're almost guaranteed to see a few other people hanging around and taking photos.
