Corktown, the oldest surviving neighborhood in the city, is located just west of downtown Detroit. It's a tight-knit community full of Victorian era homes many of which have been beautifully restored in a variety of colors. The growing restaurant and bar scene is one of the best in the city. Between it's restaurants, shops, and historic charm, Corktown has plenty to see and do.

Even if you've never been to Slow's BarBQ you've probably heard about them, and with good reason - aside from the awesome barbeque cooked fresh every day, it also served as a development catalyst for one of the most popular blocks in the city. Our favorites are The Reason, their Mac-N-Cheese and Sweet Potato Mash.
