Quiet, relaxing and beautiful, Umm Suqeim encapsulates the convergence of suburban life and a beachside town in Dubai. With palm tree-lined streets and some of the city's most visited beaches a short car ride away, this neighborhood exudes a Sunday morning vibe. What started as a residential area composed mostly of large villas with private backyards, Umm Suqeim has since been filled with little boutiques, restaurants, and cafés with little pops of character that might take you by surprise.
This rustic coffee house combines hardwood with exposed tiles and is punctuated by two bright pop murals. A few stools, a couple chairs and a wooden table with framed mementos from roasters spanning the globe gives this relaxed neighborhood cafe a charming vibe. Bring your laptop and work away or stop by to enjoy an espresso, americano or one of the best flat whites in town.
