Quiet, relaxing and beautiful, Umm Suqeim encapsulates the convergence of suburban life and a beachside town in Dubai. With palm tree-lined streets and some of the city's most visited beaches a short car ride away, this neighborhood exudes a Sunday morning vibe. What started as a residential area composed mostly of large villas with private backyards, Umm Suqeim has since been filled with little boutiques, restaurants, and cafés with little pops of character that might take you by surprise.
The Surf House brings surf culture and a healthy dose of laid-back atmosphere in their beachside shop. A one-stop shop for anything surf or SUP-related – including gear, magazines and apparel, they also offer lessons in both sports. The shop doubles up as a community hangout spot, where you’ll find surfers enjoying a seriously delicious cup of coffee in the backyard, or taking a class in the yoga studio.
