The Heartside neighborhood is located between Fulton, Ottawa, Wealthy, and Division. Heartside has been growing and evolving since the construction of the Van Andel Arena in 1996. The neighborhood is now thriving and full of shops, restaurants, and businesses.

The Downtown Market is newer to Grand Rapids but has a really great mix of local vendors that are all worth a try. They have a beautiful LEED-certified building with a green roof and offer a variety of classes as well as an outdoor farmers market in the summer.
