Referred to as the Central Park of Los Angeles, Griffith Park is one of the largest urban parks in North America with 4,000+ acres on the end of the Santa Monica Mountains. Within it are lush hidden gardens, views of the whole city below & some of the best hiking trails around. There is something for everyone in Griffith Park & no trip to LA is complete without a visit.

The 7 1⁄2 in (190.5 mm) gauge miniature railway is open to the public & offers free rides across their grounds. The non-profit Live Steamers mission is to educate the public about the railroad history & model rail technology.
