Prahran & Windsor

Prahran and Windsor are largely defined by the shopping strip running the length of Chapel Street. Prahran houses established markets, public institutions and larger chain stores as well as Greville Street, once the bohemian capital of Melbourne and still with an independent charm. Previously part of the City of Prahran, Windsor boasts an ever-increasing selection of independent eateries, bars and cafes.

Hawker Hall is a new addition to Windsor and it is a great one. The fourth restaurant from the Lucas group after Chin Chin, Kong and Baby, all of which worth going to if you get the chance. Hawker Hall, as the name suggests, is a large hall (seating 160) with Malaysia’s and Singapore’s best hawker market dishes, with a few other Asian influences. The buzz of the open kitchen, the people, and the music make it our new regular spot. FYI: There are no bookings for small groups so get in early!
