Little Havana

Little Havana is widely viewed as Miami’s cultural epicenter. Home to both Cuban exiles and transplants from Central and South America, the neighborhood vibrates with natural energy. Located just west of Downtown Miami and Brickell, this bustling barrio offers an escape from the more expected parts of town, providing an unapologetically authentic taste of Miami. Along Southwest 8th Street, visitors will find a number of historical landmarks, cigar shops, storefronts, and—most importantly—restaurants serving Café Cubano.

An eclectic, open-air fruit stand filled with classic Miami staples like mangos, mameys, guanabanas, and coconuts. The occasional street roosters will welcome you as you order a fresh "Batido" smoothie. Here you can mix and match an array of fruits and veggies or just tell one of the brothers who run the spot what you're in the mood for and they'll whip up a custom batch just for you. From the bar, a star beverage is the "Green Juice", which is made with real sugarcane. The cash only destination also has great food to enjoy, including the tamale, a mini Cuban Sandwich and the homemade tuna. Top off your meal with a Café Cubano made by the lady of the house for an authentic, grandma flare. The excitement continues out back where you'll find fruit trees growing, flocks of chickens, and even the store's mascot, Tuco The Pig.
