Linden Hills

Linden Hills is treasure trove of “quaintness” nestled within the lakes of Southwest Minneapolis. It was built along the Como-Harriet streetcar line in the 1920’s and it’s charm still brings people from across the city to shop local storefronts, dine at warm restaurants, bike around the lake and catch live music at the bandshell. Crafstman homes on tree-lined streets lead everywhere from the farmers market to the ice-cream shop. It’s walkable, lovable and very Instagramable.

The bandshell is an icon of Minneapolis and the lakes neighborhoods. It’s the gathering place, the visiting place, the meeting place, the running place, the eating place. All summer long there is live music and Movies in the Park – Picture it with a field full of picnic blankets and baskets set out to watch classic hollywood movies and people walking from all directions to come hear the bands play. The atmosphere on a hot summer day is straight out of a movie itself. Bread and Pickle is the cherry on top, it’s a restaurant tucked into the bandshell with a walk up counter for delicious brats and beer and the cities best truffled popcorn. An absolute don’t miss if you’re around in the summer.
