Nestled in one of the busiest areas of Mumbai, this is located in a quiet, offbeat lane that even some locals don't know about. Mumbai has many 'Pure-Veg' restaurants that serve local and udupi food, chai and coffee. We recommend a visit to Laxmi just to take in the daunting vibe of the lane and the age old defunct mill that adds to it's charm. Recommended is a Cutting Chai and Misal Pav (not for the faint tummy). Advice: Enjoy the mill views from outside and don't try to venture inside - even though it may seem very tempting! Also, you don't want to miss all the fantastic luxury furniture stores juxtaposed through the lane.
