Nord Marais

Located on the right bank of the Seine, the 3rd arrondissement is one of the smallest districts in Paris. Included is the upper part of Le Marais, the city's oldest neighborhood, considered the quieter half to the adjoining vibrant 4th. It’s one of the most celebrated neighborhoods, lined with vintage shops, open-air markets, old Jewish bakeries, charming cafes and popular museums. The perfect place for foodies, cocktail bar enthusiasts and culture lovers.

Le Barav is a great wine bar with personality, yet simple. The team is friendly and passionate. The wines come from the cellar right next door where you can choose any kind of bottle, it’s then which is simply added to your tab. You can even bring your own wine, in which case there is a 5 euro corking fee. It’s also worth knowing that if you don’t finish your bottle, you can take it to go. The service is great and you get very good advice to help you choose the wine. The delightful spot has an excellent selection of charcuterie and cheese plates and the other dishes are to die for. Unfortunately booking is not available and the place is packed on the busy days of the week, so get there on the early side.
