Located just a few miles northeast of Center City, the former epicenter of the city’s shad fishing industry is now a burgeoning and ever-evolving neighborhood, home to multi-generations and curious, young newcomers. Replete with a lively (and more importantly, walkable/bikeable) bar and restaurant scene and peppered with quaint and quiet side streets, Fishtown is pretty much the best of all and old worlds.
A summer evening never tasted so good as when you’re sitting outside, chowing down on a tray full of smokey bbq with all the sides, including: burnt-end baked beans, potato salad, etc. Plus, they have over 100 North American bourbons and whiskeys. So... see ya there.
