The Passyunk Square neighborhood is a walkable, diverse community with a mix of old and new businesses. The lines between irony, homage and tradition blur here. An upscale Mexican restaurant may be across the street from one owned by immigrants from Puebla. Coffee and beer live together harmoniously under one roof. Auto repair shops become bars... but keep their facades in the process. And a new generation appreciates the value of walking to everything. Passyunk Square is a vital mix, and it works.

A year ago Amelie's Bark Shop joined the neighborhood and quickly became the best spot to get a homemade treat for mans best friend! The bakery case is full of treats made in house for both cats and dogs, and mimic some of the neighborhoods classic foods (such as the cheesesteak and the cannoli). They also carry handmade eco friendly toys, foods, and accessories for your furry pals. Make sure you say hi to the shop cat Don Draper, and of course, the shops namesake, Amelie!
