Family run, community supporting, ethical and delicious. This is one of my favourite places to eat and one of my favourite businesses all round. The menu is completely seasonal and seriously good, and they trade for backyard produce from local residents to make their pickles with. When we visited they were on the lookout for 'plums, chillies and tomatoes'. Our home garden consists of one dead peace lilly so we generally make do with paying for our brunch. Make sure you also check out The Cornersmith Picklery - an open kitchen that makes pickles & mustards, sells to the public and runs classes. 441 Illawarra Rd Marrickville 2204 - definitely worth a visit.
