Located in Toronto’s west end, this neighborhood has an equal combination of charm and grit. Artists, new immigrants, and young families all call Parkdale home, and its local businesses cater to a diverse crowd with eclectic interests. You’ll find vintage clothing shops, Tibetan restaurants, bespoke furniture designers and vinyl record stores, all on the same city block... some of which have been around for decades, and others that have popped up overnight. The architecture in the area is equally varied, with a mix of original Victorian mansions, commercial storefronts and high-rise apartment buildings.
Their focus on mid-century furniture in excellent condition sets the Queen West Antique Centre apart.
An endless expanse of curiosities and classic pieces.
96 Tears is a vintage store for wearable fashion — a place where you can find your new favourite outfit, head-to-toe. All of the pieces have a distinct, nostalgic aesthetic but the wide variety, from plaid to leather to fur, means that there’s something to suit any style. The assortment of men’s and women’s clothing was hand-picked by owners Colette Todoroff and Christopher Koyionis, who also have a sewing studio at the back of the shop for creating one-of-a-kind garments.
