
















The Dupont Circle neighborhood, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is dotted with several landmarks and is home to embassies, think tanks, and families alike. Although largely undeveloped until after the American Civil War, Dupont Circle is now a hub of DC history and architectural styles.

The Phillips Collection is an art museum founded in 1921 by Duncan and Marjorie Phillips. The collection started off with just a few family-owned paintings, and slowly expanded with the help of Duncan (a published art critic) and Marjorie (a painter).
