Boasting the Village’s biggest and most happening patio, an interesting beer list that goes on for days, legit-good and freshly made bar food, and a diverse crowd of cool kids, tattooed parents, trivia junkies, bocce players, and English Premier League aficionados, the Midway quickly established itself as a Village mainstay when it opened in 2008. The drink list comes in a thick booklet called “the Pharmacy,” the chicken fingers are Guinness-battered and delicious, and the TVs inside allow you to catch the game but certainly aren’t the point—that would be the crowd, the company, the community.
