Just 2 miles east of downtown, historic Inman Park is Atlanta’s very first planned suburb. (Back when 2 miles was a world away.) The neighborhood was known for its grand Victorian homes and former famous resident Asa Candler, founder of Coke. Today, the intown neighborhood is known for being red hot. A recent spate of development has brought with it a wealth of things to see and do. This current evolution mixes historic with hip and its very happening!
This is the mother load for craft beer lovers. An insane number of taps pour forth a pint for every palate. The bartenders are super-helpful when you find yourself dazed and confused by the massive selection. If you can’t find a beer you like here, just go home and face it – you don’t really like beer. Their adjoining retail space has an impressive selection of beer, wines and growlers as well. Hop City is located in Krog Street Market.
