Just 2 miles east of downtown, historic Inman Park is Atlanta’s very first planned suburb. (Back when 2 miles was a world away.) The neighborhood was known for its grand Victorian homes and former famous resident Asa Candler, founder of Coke. Today, the intown neighborhood is known for being red hot. A recent spate of development has brought with it a wealth of things to see and do. This current evolution mixes historic with hip and its very happening!
Hipster city? Perhaps, but don’t let it dissuade you. The food is cheap, crazy tasty and the boozy slushies make it “destination dining”. (designated driver recommended) There is a ping pong table in the back and the patio is a great place to hang with the cool kids, so squeeze into your skinny jeans and enjoy! Tattoos not required.
