Just 2 miles east of downtown, historic Inman Park is Atlanta’s very first planned suburb. (Back when 2 miles was a world away.) The neighborhood was known for its grand Victorian homes and former famous resident Asa Candler, founder of Coke. Today, the intown neighborhood is known for being red hot. A recent spate of development has brought with it a wealth of things to see and do. This current evolution mixes historic with hip and its very happening!
Much like the Ferry Building Market in San Francisco, Krog Street Market is a cool gathering of local food and culture with a dash of retail, housed in a renovated 1920’s warehouse. The wildly popular spot can test your crowd tolerance, so a word to the wise – visit between 10 and 5 during the week to beat the hoards if you can. Totally worth it!
