Asahi is a Japanese food, gifts and more specialty store. From sake sets and tea sets to handmade rice balls during lunchtime, this place really emphasizes the feeling of Japanese comfort in a well organized grocery setting. If you like ramen, you can buy it dry-packaged here or purchase everything you need to make a fresh homemade bowl of ramen. They have a few assorted fresh fruits and veggies on rotation, as well as handmade noodles and fish cake in the freezer section. As for dessert there is a multitude of goodies to choose from, baked goods to chocolate green tea ice cream sandwiches, my personal favorite. They also have tons of packaged favorites from Japan.
