From the bustling chaos of Court Street and Atlantic Ave, to the serene leafy streets lined with tall brownstones by the East River, Brooklyn Heights is home to a mix of timeless New York establishments and up-and-coming contemporary restaurants and bars. This historic district is a taste of what Brooklyn looked like in the 19th century. A day trip offers everything from museum hopping to fine dining, to world famous cheesecake, to kayaking in the East River and one of the best views of the Manhattan skyline.
Serenity now…

The Long Island Bar & Restaurant has been around the block. For more than 50 years. While the original owners have passed the baton to Joel Tompkins and Toby Cecchini, Long Island Bar remains a fixture in a neighborhood that loves having it around. It’s the place you go to hang out, to blow off steam, or sometimes watch live TV on a big screen in the back. Don’t sleep on the food either because holy smokes, it’s fantastic.
