From the bustling chaos of Court Street and Atlantic Ave, to the serene leafy streets lined with tall brownstones by the East River, Brooklyn Heights is home to a mix of timeless New York establishments and up-and-coming contemporary restaurants and bars. This historic district is a taste of what Brooklyn looked like in the 19th century. A day trip offers everything from museum hopping to fine dining, to world famous cheesecake, to kayaking in the East River and one of the best views of the Manhattan skyline.
Serenity now…
From Stephen, with love
Depending on when you read this, the Love Letter To Brooklyn may or may not exist beyond photography. This installation has been here since 2011 and will be torn down very soon. We chose to highlight this piece of art because it’s part of our neighborhood now and is worth remembering.
